It's a global campaign appealing to get 70,000 kind hearted individuals worldwide to buy a virtual lemonade plot for USD 0.99 per plot to help fund college fees

This is not a scam, a hoax or a social study. I'm stating the purpose up front, no hidden agenda, no tricks up the sleeve, no nothing. Like the old adage says ' desperate time call for desperate measures' so here I am trying to appeal to 70,000 internet users worldwide to contribute 99¢ per person so I can have enough fund to pay my college fees.

1. You download one of the lemonade pixels from the 'Lemonade Menu' by right clicking on it

2. Go to 'Buy Lemonade' and enter all the relevant detail.

3. Upload your lemonade pixels in the 'Lemonade Grid' and add promotion about anything you want.

4. Pay for it through Paypal.

5. Tell the world what you have done by sharing it with the world through the 'Share' button at the right hand corner of the 'Lemonade Grid'.

6. That's it! You have agreed to contribute to my college fund which I'll forever be gratefull.

Here is my story, since I'm sure everyone will be wondering why am I doing this thing and why would anyone buy virtual lemonade that you can't even drink. All I can say is, it is for the greater good. I am trying to fund my college degree. I know...I know you would start to say, why are you asking me for money then, just go. If only it was that easy.

I am not trying to sell sob story but the thing is I had exhausted every option possible, I wouldn't be asking you for money if the agency I was hoping to fund my degree decided they need to keep their cash due to the finacial crisis this year. I waited a half a year for it to open it's scholarship application when suddenly they decided to put it on hold due to budget constraint.

I've been waiting to get a place at the university for a year not to mention all the time spent taking exams to meet the degree entry requirement and just to be thwarted at the end because I can't pay for it is not something I'm willing to face.

Banks...they just don't want me on their client list, no job, no prospect, not even a car to refinance. Believe me, I visited every bank available, cajole every officer I know but unless you work with the government or have an income exceeding $5,000 a month, there is no hope in hell for you to get a loan. One bank in particular who years before offer education loan decided to freeze the service this year.

Running out of legal option, illegal one is still wide open, bank robber, high-class social escort, drug pusher, etc...etc, I figure out why not ask 70,000 strangers to give me USD 0.99 per person. Seem far-fetch right? Like I said, I'm running out of option, if by September I can't come out with the the amount of money needed for the fees, I can kiss my spot at college goodbye. If this sounds crazy, so be it. I just need a little percentage of the internet users out there to willingly depart with their money. That's it.

How am I going to do that is by selling a 100 pixels virtual lemonade for USD 0.99. In exchange you get a little 100 pixels plot on the Lemonade Grid I set up to promote anything you want. It will be a big billboard. The best thing, you can promote it through the 'Share' link on the upper right hand corner. Let the world know what you have done.

Next you will be asking me 100 pixels is so small you will need a magnifying glass to see it. The lemonade glass is only a spot, when a person hovers about your glass, your promotion will appear and so does an additional image you uploaded earlier. It can be any image you want as long as it is not something illegal.

Therefore in reality your advertisement space is so much larger than 100 pixels and just in case you are generous, you can buy a lot more lemonade and increase the chance of people clicking on your promotion. It's a one off thing, there is no recurring charges, no pay per click, pay per view charge.The best thing is the promotion will run for another 2 years to come, if I finish my degree and get a job, the site will be running for years to come.

If you decided to put your own image instead of the lemonade image, please feel free to do so, beggars can't be choosers. I will be happy to accommodate, just make sure it is within the specified size. Larger image cost more.
